Q. How do I stop SPAM from coming to my Inbox?

A. Unfortunately, SPAM is something that all email users have to contend with. However, there are steps you can take to ensure that these messages are filtered instead of cluttering up your mailbox.

Q. How do create Block Lists to block emails from certain addresses?

A. A Block list is a list of email addresses entered by you that are addresses that you always want filtered as SPAM. These messages will be sent straight to your Junk folder in WebMail.

Q. How do I manually mark messages as SPAM?

A. When a message arrives in your Inbox you can mark that message as SPAM and it will automatically move the message to your Junk folder and add the sender to your Block List.

Q. Why am I not getting some of my Email?

A. While attempting to prevent SPAM from getting to your mail box it is possible that a “good” email could be marked as SPAM.

Q. How can I organize my emails?

A. Inside the CenturyTel WebMail client you can create Personal Folders to store your email in. This will allow you to create folders with a name of your choosing to organize and store your emails.

Q. When I send emails to people the “From” address shows my login_id@centurytel.net. Can I change this to show my name or email alias?

A. Inside the CenturyTel WebMail client you can create Personal Folders to store your email in. This will allow you to create folders with a name of your choosing to organize and store your emails.
