Branson Area Voice Mail Instructions

Due to technical difficulties experienced by some Branson area customers, the CenturyTel Voice Mail system was upgraded to a new and improved system. You will need to re-establish your Voice Mail box and your password. Please follow the instructions given when you dial into your Voice Mail.

If you are calling from your CenturyTel home or business phone line you will record your Voice Mail name and greeting followed by your personal password entry and activation. Please use the instructions below to create and turn on your password:

Step 1: Dial into your Voice Mail - you will hear choices from the main menu
Step 2: Press 4 for Personal options
Step 3: Press 2 for Administrative options
Step 4: Press 1 for Password options
Step 5: Press 1 to enter your personal password - it may be between 4 and 10 numbers in length
Step 6: You are now back in the Personal Options Menu. Press 2 for Administrative options
Step 7: Press 1 for Password options
Step 8: Press 2 for Skip password
Step 9: Press 2 to turn off Skip password

If you are calling from any other phone line (i.e. cell phone or a different location) you will need to create and turn on your password using the instructions below:

Step 1: Dial into your Voice Mail and press #
Step 2: The system will prompt you for your mailbox number and your temporary password - your mailbox number is your 10-digit phone number and your temporary password is CENTURY (236-8879). After entering your mailbox number and temporary password press #
Step 3: You will then be prompted to enter a new personal password - it may be between 4 and 10 numbers in length
Step 4: Press 2 for Administrative options
Step 5: Press 1 for Password options
Step 6: Press 2 for Skip password
Step 7: Press 2 to turn off Skip password
Step 8: Please refer to the detailed setup instructions to create your personal greetings
